I was selected by the ENS to test their brand guidelines for their annual frENSday conference. The goal is to follow the guidelines to create 5 characters for the frENSday conference in my personal style and ensure that the instructions are clear and comprehensible to future designers.

 

Idesigned the characters according to their personal color palettes and shapes, and added my own touch to their features and accessories. To suit the hand-drawn style, I created the typeface for 'frENS' in a similar style, with its colors corresponding to each character.

My main takeaway from this project is that the logo could be refined more for the brand, and I should create a unifying theme for the characters if I had more time. Overall, I am very satisfied with my project, and it was well-received by ENS as well. The team loved the playful design and creative use for their costumes and positions. The accessories, personalities, and color identites were well-expressed.
